Trust & Integrity
Compliance Framework
Last updated: 1 July 2026
This Compliance Framework describes how Guida Insight maintains the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and fairness in every engagement. It applies to our team, our experts, and our clients — wherever in the world they may be.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this framework is to protect everyone involved in an engagement and to preserve the trust that makes honest conversation possible. It sets clear expectations for behaviour, defines how we handle sensitive information, and explains how we keep our processes fair and transparent.
2. Scope
This framework applies to everyone who works with or through Guida Insight — including our internal team, the experts in our network, and the clients we serve. It covers every market we operate in. Our headquarters are in Mumbai, India, and we maintain an office in the UAE. Together, these locations support our work with clients and experts around the world.
3. Core principles
We are guided by four principles in everything we do:
- Integrity: We are honest in our dealings, accurate in our representations, and we do not cut corners on compliance to win business.
- Confidentiality: We protect information shared with us and make sure it is only used for its intended purpose.
- Fair dealing: We treat clients and experts equally, avoid conflicts of interest, and never exploit asymmetric information for unfair advantage.
- Transparency: We explain our processes clearly, disclose what matters, and welcome questions about how we work.
4. Expert conduct
Experts in our network are expected to share only their own knowledge and publicly available information. They must not disclose proprietary details, trade secrets, or information they are bound to keep private. Experts should disclose any conflicts of interest before an engagement begins, represent their qualifications accurately, and respect the confidentiality of every conversation.
5. Client engagement
Clients agree to use expert insights only for lawful internal business purposes. They must not record a consultation without clear prior agreement from both the expert and Guida Insight. They should not ask for information that would breach confidentiality or put an expert in a difficult position. Respect for the expert's time, expertise, and boundaries is essential.
6. Data protection
We handle personal and business information with care. Access is limited to those who need it, and we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep data secure. Information is shared only when necessary for a specific engagement and only under appropriate protections. We retain data only for as long as we have a legitimate need, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Monitoring
We review our engagements regularly to make sure our standards are being met. If we identify a concern — whether around behaviour, information handling, or a potential conflict — we investigate promptly and take corrective action. This may include pausing an engagement, removing an expert from a mandate, or ending a client relationship if necessary. We learn from every issue and update our practices to prevent recurrence.
8. Global commitment
Guida Insight is headquartered in Mumbai with a regional presence in the UAE, and we serve clients across the world. Wherever an engagement takes place, we apply the same consistent standards of conduct and care. We respect local customs and regulations while upholding the principles in this framework without exception.
